- Method
- Each scan generates 10 questions from the site's own homepage, then asks every question 7 times on each of 4 engines, for 280 answers per scan. The free scan uses 5 questions (140 answers).
- What it reports
- Mention rate with a Wilson 95% confidence interval, the competitors named in its place, the sources those answers cited, and trend history across scans. Sample size is published alongside every rate.
- Scan frequency
- Free scans run on demand. Paid plans re-scan each tracked domain once a week, and subscribers can pull the week's scan forward from the dashboard.
- Payments
- Polar is the reseller and merchant of record. Polar issues invoices, handles tax, and holds billing details. AnswerRadar never sees card data.
- Free tier
- A real scan, without an account and without a card. Not a time-limited trial. The limits are 2 per person per day, 20 across everyone per day, and 100 per month, because each scan costs us real money to run.
- Stated limits
- AI answers vary between runs and providers change models without notice. Reported numbers describe the runs performed, not a fixed property of a site. Logged-in personalisation is not measured.
